Biography
Dr. Aradhna Tripati is an Indo-Fijian-American geoscience professor specializing in clumped isotope geochemistry and paleoclimate at UCLA and an organizer. She is passionate about people, justice, climate, the oceans, and the environment. Aradhna founded the Center for Diverse Leadership in Science. Her collaborations include: filmmaker and URI Professor Kendall Moore – Allyship and Decolonizing STEM, Bryce Cracknell – Storytelling as Medicine and Veterans in STEM, the Broad Museum on Yayoi Kusama – Mirrored Room – The Souls of Millions of Light Years Away and Joseph Beuys – 7000 Oaks, and Jimmy Kimmel Live for two sketches on climate change. Aradhna also created an oceanography film festival with student shorts and a youtube channel.
