Coastal communities in many parts of the world face a double threat from climate change: sea level rise and more frequent extreme rain events. These interacting crises compound flood risks and present challenges for infrastructure, environmental justice, public safety, and local economies. This panel presentation and Q&A, co-hosted by Metcalf Institute and the Pulitzer Center, featured perspectives on the challenges and solutions in Rhode Island, a global hot spot for sea level rise.
