Chloe Johnson covers the coastal environment and climate change from Charleston for the Post and Courier, the largest newspaper in South Carolina. She has reported on hurricanes, land conservation tax schemes, small-town sewer disasters, local and state-wide efforts to manage flooding and policy governing the Palmetto State’s eroding beaches. She’s always looking for a good excuse to hop on a boat. Johnson is a native of Columbus, Ohio, and a graduate of American University in Washington, D.C.
