Michael Sol Warren is an environment and outdoors reporter for NJ Advance Media, with stories appearing online at NJ.com and in print in The Star-Ledger and other New Jersey newspapers. His work covers the impacts of climate change, struggles between industry and polluted communities, outdoor recreation in the Garden State and everything in between. Warren received a BA degree in journalism & mass communications and history from the University of Mexico and his master’s degree in journalism from Boston University. If he’s not hiking, running or biking around New Jersey, Warren is probably watching basketball. He eagerly awaits the day concerts return to Asbury Park.
