Raquel Zaldívar

Raquel Zaldívar is a visual journalist at the Chicago Tribune where she shoots and edits photos and videos for daily and long-term investigative and feature stories. She collaborates with other visual journalists on staff to edit documentary videos and curates the Chicago Tribune Instagram accounts. Previously, her work was published with NPR, The Washington Post and The Atlantic, among others. Zaldívar has reported throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico, Cuba, Germany and South Africa. She received her Master of Science from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with concentrations in visual journalism and Spanish from the University of Miami School of Communication.
