Richard Kayenda is a general assignment reporter with The African Brief in Mzuzu, Malawi. Previously, he was a presenter at Voice of Livingstonia Radio, a reporter with Maravi Online Publication and presenter at MBC, Kaning’ina Studios. He has undergone numerous media trainings, including Breaking Barriers to Health Services, a grant by Thomson Reuters Foundation and Global Fund, and a Violence Against Children grant by International Center for Journalists. Kayenda is a passionate reporter who has discovered the direct relationship between trainings and professional growth to improve his reporting for the benefit of the media houses he works for and that of his country at large.
