Susan Shain is a freelance journalist who covers climate change and sustainability (among many other things!), and whose work has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic and Playboy. In 2021, she was selected as a New York Times fellow for the Headway initiative. She enjoys eating, hiking and walking her dog, Mochi.
