Current events have made us busier than ever, and many of us feel overwhelmed with growing workloads and more demands on our time. Developing effective time management skills is essential to career success, whether you’re in graduate school or in a professional work environment.

Metcalf Institute hosted a time management workshop featuring Dr. Raul Pacheco-Vega, associate professor with the Methods Lab at the American Faculty for Social Sciences in Mexico, to help participants identify effective ways to approach time management. Dr. Pacheco-Vega shared a Project-Based Approach to Time Management, and a Bite-Sized Approach to Workload Management. We discussed challenges facing students and scholars, and Dr. Pacheco-Vega’s framework to help find the right approach for all of our different personalities.

This session satisfied a CDP Certificate requirement.
